Vladimir Ashatkin was born in 1986 in Saratov. In 2010, he graduated from Saratov State University with a specialization in Medical Physics from the Faculty of Physics. During his studies, he participated in international conferences and contributed to the development of innovative medical equipment.
In 2012, Vladimir began his professional career as a design engineer in the oil and gas sector. He worked on the design of a wide range of equipment, from gas filters to magnetic stress-corrosion flaw detectors.
In 2018, he joined the Research and Design Institute of Organic and Inorganic Chemistry Technologies as Chief Designer. His responsibilities included expert evaluation of completed projects, as well as the design and scaling of technologies for small-scale chemical production.
Since 2024, Vladimir has been working at Skoltech’s Center for Energy Science and Technology. His current focus is on developing and scaling advanced technologies for synthesizing cathode materials to drive innovation in energy storage solutions.
