Nikolay Zverkov

Nikolay graduated from St. Petersburg State University with a degree in Chemistry. He obtained his Master’s degree from the Department of Analytical Chemistry at the Institute of Chemistry, defending a thesis on atomic emission spectral analysis of viscous organic liquids. Previously, Nikolay worked as an engineer in the shared-use laboratory centers at both St. Petersburg State University and ITMO University in the Laboratory of Hybrid Nanophotonics and Optoelectronics.

As a laboratory engineer at the Center for Energy Technologies at Skoltech, Nikolay’s key responsibilities include:

• Participation in start-up, equipment installation, and organization of laboratory spaces.
• Installation, repair, and regular preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Organization of acceptance, storage, inventory, and issuance of laboratory assets.
• Weekly monitoring of consumables and reagents for general laboratory use.
• Preparing plans for the purchase of consumables.
• Interaction with the engineering and technical staff of the laboratory, students, and other center employees.
