Dmitry Pogozhev is responsible for management of projects with potential industry partners of the Skoltech Center for Electrochemical Energy Storage.
Dmitry graduated from Moscow State University in June 2004, majoring in organic chemistry. He worked in the Laboratory of Organic Synthesis under the supervision of Prof. E. V. Babaev. Within the framework his PhD project, Dmitry worked under the supervision of Prof. M.W. Housseini and Dr. S. Baudron in the Laboratory of Organic Coordination Chemistry of the Université de Strasbourg. He then worked in the group of Prof. C. P. Berlinguette (University of Calgary, Canada) as a postdoc associate. The project was focused on development of novel complexes for dye-sensitized solar cell application.
Dmitry Pogozhev commenced his career at the R&D Department of ASINEX Company (Moscow) as a researcher working on preparation of potential drug compounds. He then joined LG Chem, Ltd. (Research Park, South Korea) as a research scientist. His project was focused on novel organic additive materials for lithium ion secondary batteries.
Prior to Skoltech, Dmitry worked at Moscow Office of LG Electronics (LGTCM) as an expert in the field of technologies for secondary batteries, fuel cell, and solar cell applications.
