The conference will cover both theoretical and practical aspects of modern electrochemistry. Practical work will be done in the labs in 3 tracks under supervision of qualified personnel.

Tutorials and practical work. Tracks:

  • Track “Processing of experimental data (basic)” includes: Crystallography (basic): BVS – activation and dimensionality, visualization, light atoms localization; Python’s basics for data treatment; Processing of experimental data – structure refinement and structure solution.
  • Track “Processing of experimental data (advanced)” includes: Crystallography (advanced): BVS + cloud computing, the Materials Project and database screening; Python for XRD data analysis and visualization; Processing of experimental data – sequential refinement.
  • Track “Computational methods” includes: Atomistic modelling of materials: crystal structure, point defects, and diffusion study using density functional theory
