Tao Fan graduated from the Northwestern Polytechnical University, School of Materials Science and Engineering in 2018. He was admitted to Skoltech PhD in Materials Science and Engineering on Nov. 1st, 2018. His research topic focus on using computational methods to study the properties of materials, including developing algorithm to calculate electron and phonon transport properties of crystalline materials; high-throughput method for screening potential thermoelectric materials; materials informatics.
