Stanislav Bogdanov received his Master’s degree in 2020 from Physics Department at Moscow State University. He started his research work at the Laboratory of Non-Stationary and Non-Equilibrium Thermal-Photovoltaic Processes. His field of research was related to laser physics, PV cells, and wireless energy transfer in space. Stanislav conducted experiments on the transmission of laser beams, designed effective PV arrays, and developed software for system control. During his studies, he worked as an engineer at the RSC Energia in joint projects with MSU.
At Skoltech, Stanislav moved to develop the appropriate energy storage systems for large-scale power systems with a high share of renewable sources. He is currently focused on developing the modeling approaches for vanadium redox flow batteries for high-power applications and strategies for battery performance optimization. Also, Stanislav is involved in the HYFlow project, in which he worked in the field of modeling the redox flow batteries.
