Rahim Samanbakhsh received his Master(MSc.) in Iran from the University of Zanjan in Power Electronics. His Master Thesis was titled “Designing of multilevel converters for renewable energy sources to Power Grids”. About his educational experience, he worked as a Lecturer and Teaching Assistant in Power Electronics I, Power Electronics II, Industrial Power Electronics, Electrical Circuits. 

He started his Ph.D. at Skoltech University with a major in power electronics.  The main research aims to improve the power transfers (converters) for renewable energy sources (PV Panels, Wind Turbines, … ) by simplifying a structure, increasing efficiency, control, and reducing cost.
