PhD thesis: “A novel wet pulling technique for carbon nanotube fibers manufacturing”
Supervisor: Prof. Albert Nasibulin
IDC committee members: Prof. Clement Fortin, Prof. Sergey Abaimov, Prof. Albert Nasibulin
Maria graduated from Physics Department of Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2015 majoring in physics of nonlinear dynamical systems. Her thesis was dedicated to coordinate control design of a satellite. In 2016 Maria graduated Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech), majoring in advanced manufacturing and product design. During the thesis, she designed an optimized nanopositioning stage for high-speed atomic force microscope in a collaboration with Massachusetts Institute of Technology Mechatronics Research Lab, where Maria studied during the Fall 2015. Currently, Maria is a PhD student at Center for Photonics and Quantum Materials as Skoltech. She patented a novel straightforward technique of manufacturing carbon nanotube (CNT) fibers, which is a promising method for fast and easy CNT fiber production for flexible electronics and sensors.
