Ph.D. thesis: “Vehicle to Grid: power grid modelling and markets”
Supervisor: Prof. David Pozo
IDC committee members: Prof. David Pozo, Prof. Elena Gryazina and Prof. Janusz Bialek.
I’m a Master in Electrical Engineering (2020), an Electrical Engineer (2016), and an Electronics Engineer (2016) who graduated from the Universidad del Norte. Previously, I was a teaching assistant in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department at the Universidad del Norte. Now, I’m working in Operations Research (OR) for getting optimal or near-optimal solutions for complex decision-making problems. It draws upon fields such as mathematical modelling and optimization, statistical analysis, and computer science.
I also love keeping up and tinkering with the latest technologies. I recently spent some time working with Julia Computing, mainly architecting and building solutions to programming problems. When I’m not studying or working, you can find me in movie theatres, cooking, playing chess, writing, reading, and occasionally competing in cycling.
