PhD thesis: “Preparation and Studies of Inverse Catalysts for CO-Tolerant Energy Conversion”
Supervisor: Prof. Keith J. Stevenson
IDC committee members: Prof. Keith J. Stevenson, Prof. Vitaly V. Kuznetsov (DSc in chemical sciences, Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia), Prof. Vitaly V. Sinitsyn (DSc in physics and mathematics, “InEnergy” Ltd.).
Kirill graduated from the Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia (MUCTR) with honors in 2016. His BSc diploma work was dedicated to the electrochemical destruction of azo dyes. In 2018, Kirill graduated from Skoltech under Prof. Keith J. Stevenson supervision; he was studying carbon monoxide (CO) – tolerant materials for proton-exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) in collaboration with MUCTR and “InEnergy” Ltd. His current research interest is advanced synthesis, characterization, and electrochemistry of CO-tolerant catalysts for PEMFCs and their applicability on an industrial level. The platinum – molybdenum oxides – containing materials are in focus due to their superior tolerant characteristics.
