Ph.D. thesis: “Smart reactor for synthesis of nanomaterials”
Supervisor: Prof. Albert Nasibulin
Javier Antonio Ramirez Benavides graduated as an IT technician in 2011 from the Polytechnic Territorial University Cecilio Acosta (Los Teques city, Venezuela). His grade work title was: “Design and implementation of a wireless free air laser data and voice communication system”. After finishing an internship period of one year, he began working as a visiting student in the Quantum Optics laboratory at the Venezuelan Institute of Scientific Research, under the supervision of Dr. Aristides Marcano Olaizola during 4 years. During this period he also finished Cisco CCNA course, and worked as IT senior networking engineer. During this period he simultaneously began studying IT engineering at the Polythecnic university Dr. Federico Rivero Palacio (Caracas city, Venezuela). He obtained his degree with the work entitled “Design and implementation of a high speed wireless free air laser data communication system aimed to industrial telemetry” while working at the Venezuelan institute for Scientific Research as research associated professional, at the nonlinear dynamics and complex systems lab, mainly in applied optics and electronics. In 2016 Javier came to Russia to study Master in Applied Mathematics and Physics at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, in the program of Electron Beam plasma technologies, Faculty: Aerophysics and Space Research, Cathedra: Logistic Systems and Technologies. Thesis title was “Generators of hybrid plasmas for Industrial Applications”, under supervision of Professor Mikhail Nikolaevich Vasiliev. Currently he is studying PhD in Skolkovo Institute of Science and technology, Laboratory of Nanomaterials, under supervision of Professor Albert G. Nasibulin; The prospective thesis topic being evaluated is “Smart reactor for synthesis of nanomaterials”. Currently his research work is on hardware development for synthesis and processing of nanomaterials and the experimental prototyping of applications for them.
