Scientific advisor: Prof. Alexander Ustinov
Irina graduated from Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University in 2015 majoring in Electric Power Engineering. Her Master thesis was devoted to Monitoring System of Hexagonal Smart Distribution Grid 20 kV. Irina has work experience as a design engineer in Power System Engineering department, that gave her a clear understanding of current power system construction and operation. Irina’s research interests are centered around Smart Grid, power system state estimation, protection of active-adaptive grid. At Skoltech Irina’s focus of research is Solid State Transformer.
PhD thesis is “Development and modeling of Solid State Transformer for Smart Grids”.
