PhD thesis: Mixed Niobium Phosphates as Anode Materials for Metal-ion Batteries
Supervisor: Evgeny Antipov, Cosupervisor: Nellie Khasanova
IDC Committee members: Evgeny Antipov, Nellie Khasanova, Artem Abakumov.
Biography: Ilia’s academic training was combined with practical experience obtained while working in different laboratories. During first three years at university Ilia specialized in the branch of organic chemistry in the field of homogenius catalysis at the Nesmeyanov and Topchiev Institutions RAS. That resulted in some articles that were published in European Journal of Organic Chemistry and Mendeleev Communications. His technological practice was held in “Rustor” company and was conducted under Dr. Tatyana Adakumova’s supervision.
In 2022 Ilia graduated with honors from Moscow State University. His diploma project was supervised by Dr. Nellie Khasanova, and is dedicated to the synthesis of inorganic compounds as prospective electrode materials for metal-ions batteries. The subject of it is devoted to synthesis, analysis and measurement of electrochemical properties NASICON and Anti-NASICON structured mixed niobium phosphates.
Currently his PhD research at Skoltech is deeper and broader continuation of his diploma. This work is supported by the grant of Russian Science Foundation № 23-13-00071 “New generation of high capacitance electrode materials for metal-ion batteries”.
