Andrey majored the Univercity of Pierre and Marie Curie of Paris. His diploma was dedicated to the synthesis of hydroxide shells on the surface of lithium metal oxides via various synthetic techniques. At Skoltech his work is dedicated to the synthesis and enchancement of cathode materials for metal-ion batteries, using the core-shell structure of particles. The work is being conducted with the collaborations of Moscow State University and SUNY University at Albany.
