Supervisor: Prof. Albert Nasibulin, Dr. Dmitry Krasnikov
IDC Committee members: Prof. Keith J. Stevenson, Prof. Dmitry Gorin, Prof. Nikolay Gippius
Biography:
Alisa graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Physics with a bachelor’s degree in Physics in 2019. During the work on her bachelor thesis, she engaged in research of hollow polyelectrolyte microgels as carriers for the drug delivery using molecular dynamics method. However, while obtaining master’s degree in Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, Alisa focused on the synthesis of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs). The result of this work was the development of ethylene-based aerosol CVD synthesis of single-walled carbon nanotubes for optoelectronic applications. She is planning to apply this technology to the growth of single-chirality SWCNTs during her PhD.
