Feynman Integrals, modular forms and beyond

In this talk I will explain the link between Feynman integrals and period of mixed Hodge structures. We will discuss the case of the sunset graph which are associated to Calabi-Yau geometry and show how the Feynman integral is expressed as modular forms at low loop order. We will present a very intriguing link with mirror symmetry and the conjecture that the sunset graph Feynman integral compute the prepotential of local Gromov-Witten invariant of some non-compact Calabi-Yau associate to the graph polynomial

On representations of quantum groups and functional relations in quantum integrable systems

Functional equations satisfied by integrability objects follow from the сharacteristics of representations of the corresponding quantum groups. We consider representations of quantum loop algebras and their Borel subalgebras leading to such equations. In particular, we are interested in the highest $\ell$-weight representations. Here we compare the respective $q$-oscillator and prefundamental representations and discuss how relations between their highest $\ell$-weights reproduce the functional relations

Geometry of discrete Painlevé equations and applications

The goal of this talk is to present some of the main ideas behind the theory of discrete Painlevé equations and to show how they can be effectively applied to understand examples of discrete Painlevé equations that appear in applications. After explaining the geometric framework, we consider a particular example of a discrete Painlevé equation of type $A_{2}^{(1)*}$ that occurs as a reduction from the simplest rank-one two-point Schlesinger transformation of a Fuchsian system. The explicit form of this equation is quite complicated. This reflects the fact that the initial coordinates in which the equation was written were good for studying the original Fuchsian system, but not for its Schlesinger transformations. A natural question then is how to find a good coordinate form of this equation. A related question is whether our equation is equivalent to a simpler form of a discrete Painlevé equation obtained previously by Grammaticos, Ramani, and Ohta as a deautonomization of a particular QRT mapping. To answer this question, we construct a birational representation of the extended affine Weyl symmetry group $E_{6}^{(1)}$ of the $d-PA_{2}^{(1)*}$ family and then represented each equation as a word in the generators of the group. We show that these words are conjugate. This means that these very differently-looking two equations are in fact equivalent through a change of variables. Using the birational representation of $\widetilde{W}\left(E_{6}^{(1)}\right)$ we can find this change of variables explicitly. This example is a good illustration of the applicability of Sakai’s geometric theory for various applications.

Integrable deformations of AdS superstrings and Weyl invariance

I will discuss recent developments relating the Weyl invariance of certain integrable deformations of AdS superstrings to the underlying algebraic structure. The talk will focus on two classes of models, the homogeneous and inhomogeneous Yang-Baxter deformations. In the first part I will outline how homogeneous Yang-Baxter deformations are related to non-abelian duality and discuss the consequences for the Weyl invariance of the deformed models. In the second part I will comment on the extent to which these results can currently be extended to the inhomogeneous Yang-Baxter deformation, a.k.a. the eta or q deformation

Geometric realization of Dynkin quiver type quantum affine Schur-Weyl duality

Attached to a Dynkin quiver (of type ADE), Kang-Kashiwara-Kim defined a functor connecting the module category of the quiver Hecke (=KLR) algebra and that of the quantum affine algebra of the corresponding type as a generalized version of the quantum affine Schur-Weyl duality. In this talk, we present a geometric realization of Kang-Kashiwara-Kim’s functor via the equivariant K-theory. Our construction imitates Ginzburg-Reshetikhin-Vasserot’s geometric realization of the usual quantum affine Schur-Weyl duality

Generalized Harish-Chandra isomorphism

For any complex reductive Lie algebra g and any locally finite g-module V, we extend to the tensor product of U(g) by V the Harish-Chandra description of g-invariants in the universal enveloping algebra U(g). This is a joint work with Khoroshkin and Vinberg, originating from the works of Tolstoy and Zhelobenko on extremal projectors and extremal cocycles. It has been already used by Alekseev with Moreau and by Joseph in their proofs of the Clifford algebra conjecture of Kostant

Quantum integrable systems and networks on surfaces

We will show that the boundary partition functions of the two 5 vertex degenerations of sl_2 Yangian can be described as particular networks on a plane or a cylinder. The latter are called whirl and curl networks. It implies many “cluster algebra” type identities between them and reveals a close connection to currents algebras GL(n)[t]. We will show also how this applies to Schubert calculus

Pentagram maps and refactorization in Poisson-Lie groups

The pentagram map was introduced by Richard Schwartz in 1992, and is now one of the most renowned discrete integrable systems which has deep connections with such topics as cluster algebras, dimer models etc. In this talk I will present a geometric construction which identifies the pentagram map, as well as all its various multidimensional generalisations, with refactorization-type mappings in Poisson-Lie groups

Thermal form factors and form factor series for correlation functions of the XXZ chain

Correlation functions of Yang-Baxter integrable lattice models can be expanded into form-factor series involving matrix elements of the quantum transfer matrix rather than the usual transfer matrix. This is called the thermal form-factor approach to correlation functions. We have calculated the thermal form factors of local operators for the XXZ chain and have analysed the corresponding form-factor series for two-point functions in the low-temperature limit. In this talk I review the method, show asymptotic and numerical results for static correlation functions and discuss further perspectives and more recent results, in particular for the dynamical case
