Painleve equations from Nakajima-Yoshioka blow-up relations

Gamayun, Iorgov and Lisovyy in 2012 proposed that tau function of the Painlevé equation equals to the series of с=1 Virasoro conformal blocks.We study similar series of c=-2 conformal blocks and relate it to Painlevé theory. The arguments are based on Nakajima-Yoshioka blow-up relations on Nekrasov partition functions.
We also study series of q-deformed c=-2 conformal blocks and relate it to q-Painlevé equation. Using this we prove formula for the tau function of q-Painleve A
7(1)’ equation (based on arXiv:1811.04050v1)

Determinantal point processes and spaces of holomorphic functions

The determinantal point processes arise from many branches of areas such as random matrices, representation theory, random graphs and zeros of holomorphic functions etc. In this talk, I will briefly recall the basic materials in the theory of determinantal point processes and then will discuss some results concerning the conditional measures, rigidity property and the Olshanski’s problem on this area. The talk will be based on several works joint with Alexander Bufetov, Alexander Shamov and Shilei Fan

Deformed correlation functions, screening operators, and affine Laumon manifold

It is easy to see that the correlation functions of phi_12 operators for the deformed Virasoro/W-algebras give us the Macdonald polynomials. We can deform the story to an affine analogue, having certain vertex operators which are infinitely many times screened. The correlation function of them gives us the Euler characteristic of the affine Laumon manifold

Isomonodromy equations on algebraic curves, canonical transformations and Whitham equations

The Hamiltonian theory of isomonodromy equations for meromorphic connections with irregular singularities on algebraic curves is constructed. An explicit formula for the symplectic structure on the space of monodromy and Stokes matrices is obtained. The Whitham equations for the isomonodromy equations are derived. It is shown that they provide a flat connection on the space of the spectral curves of the Hitchin systems

Geometric hydrodynamics via Madelung transform

We describe a geometric framework to study Newton’s equations on infinite-dimensional configuration spaces of diffeomorphisms and smooth probability densities. It turns out that several important PDEs of hydrodynamical origin can be described in this framework in a natural way. In particular, the so-called Madelung transform between the Schrödinger-type equations on wave functions and Newton’s equations on densities turns out to be a Kähler map between the corresponding phase spaces, equipped with the Fubini-Study and Fisher-Rao information metrics. This is a joint work with G.Misiolek and K.Modin

Deforming integrals of motion via quantum toroidal algebras

Integrals of motion in conformal field theory is a topic old enough yet not fully understood. After q-deformation their relation to quantum toroidal algebras becomes apparent, leading to description of eigenvalues by Bethe ansatz.
We give a survey about these developments done jointly with B. Feigin and E. Mukhin

Geometric aspects of quantum Hall effect and quantum hydrodynamics / mini-course, 2nd lecture

Recent new developments in the theory of quantum Hall effect point to deep relations to the problem of quantization of hydrodynamics. Both problems have common geometric properties and could be studied on a unifying platform. In the series of talks I will review recent advances in some of these fields emphasizing the common geometric aspects.
Among the subjects are
= geometric transport (adiabatic transport in moduli space);
= odd viscosity and anomalous stress;
= analytical and gravitational anomaly and related physical effects.
Talks will be accessible to graduate students specialized in theoretical physics
