PhD thesis: Machine learning interatomic potentials for charged and polarised systems
Supervisor: Alexander Shapeev
IDC Committee members: Levchenko Sergey, Aksyonov Dmitry
Biography: Olga graduated from Higher Chemical College of Russian Academy of Science with Specialist degree. During the education period she worked in field of theoretical and computational chemistry at A. N. Nesmeyanov Institute of Organoelement Compounds and Department of Chemistry of M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University. The Specialist thesis was devoted to development of method for multicomponent mixtures composition analysis based on ab initio IR spectra.
Currently, Olga’s field of study is the development of Machine Learning Interatomic Potentials, her PhD project dedicated to explicit incorporation of long-range interactions in Moment Tensor Potential model developed by group of Alexander Shapeev.
