Skoltech’s “Hi, Tech” Fest was held in San Petersburg. Many attendants came to listen to lectures on next-generation energy by Energy Center Assistant Professor Federico Ibanez.
Prof. Ibanez gave a lecture on “Smart inverters”, their functionalities and their applications. He was clearly showing the impact of power electronics in modern grids but also in modern home appliances and the reason for that.
