PhD Student Aliya Khayrullina have been accepted to Stanford U.S.-Russia Forum Program as a full participant, representing Russian Federation

SURF is a special initiative of the Preventive Defense Project at Stanford University’s Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies. It serves as a platform for students to explore opportunities for mutual cooperation between the United States and Russia, a mission it has pursued since 2008.

Aliya Khayrullina was selected from a highly competitive pool of over 600 candidates for this year’s program, which had a 5.2% acceptance rate. Over the coming academic year, she will work on collaborative research projects with her peers at Russian and American universities to address topics ranging from innovation and exchange to international relations and security.
