Andrey Tikhonov
Andrey graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University majoring in Materials Chemistry, Physics and Mechanics.
Prior to Skoltech, Andrey worked at Division of Interdisciplinary Material Science (Department of Materials Science, MSU) and Division of Inorganic Chemistry (Chemistry Department, MSU), where he was responsible for operating of FDM and SLA 3D printers, investigated new materials for bone tissue replacement and carried out thermogravimetric, IR-spectroscopic and SEM analys of different kinds of materials.
As Engineer at CDMM Andrey is responsible for working with ceramic stereolithographic 3D printer Ceramaker 900 by 3D Ceram (France).
Research Interests: Mechanics of solids, polymer composites, mechanical testing, simulation of constitutive material behavior
