Advanced manufacturing is one of the fundamental, application driven modern scientific and engineering disciplines. Progress in advanced manufacturing has a crucial impact on the economic development of the society. The key condition for progress are qualified specialists, who are able to develop innovative structures and materials for practical applications. To train required experts in this field, Center for Design, Manufacturing, and Materials (CDMM) at Skoltech offers graduate programs at master’s and doctoral level. Course: Advanced and Digital Engineering Technologies

The Advanced Manufacturing and Materials program, consisting of formal coursework plus hands-on industry experience, prepares students to assume a role of technical leadership in the product realization industries.

Ph.D. Program

CDMM Ph.D program trains students to become scientists, researchers, entrepreneurs, and Educators in advanced Manufacturing with focus on innovation in advanced materials, product life cycles, additive manufacturing, computational design, and information technology.
