Ph.D. thesis: “High-pressure chemistry of C-N-H-O system”
Supervisor: Prof. Artem R. Oganov
IDC committee members: Prof. Artem R. Oganov, Dr. Alexander Kvashnin and Dr. Sergey Lepeshkin
Anastasia graduated from Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia, Higher Chemical College of the Russian Academy of Sciences in 2015 majoring in chemistry. Her diploma work was dedicated to diastereoselective synthesis of functionalized nitro compounds based on Mukaiyama-Mannich reactions with further oxidation. At Skoltech Anastasia’s focus of research was totally switched to theory and material’s science. In her current project, she works on investigation of high-pressure chemistry of C-H and C-N-H-O systems. Both these systems are important for understanding chemical processes on giant planets.
