Joint Labs

Description: three laboratory rooms (2×34 sq. m + 17 sq. m)  equipped with all kind of general laboratory tools to perform synthesis and characterization of organic materials, assembling coin type and pouch type lithium and sodium batteries.

Tasks:

• Design of organic electrode materials for Li-ion and Na-ion batteries
• Preliminary electrochemical screening of the materials and designing laboratory prototypes of batteries
• Performing joint research and educational projects in the field of energy generation and storage with the MS and PhD students from Skoltech and IPCP RAS. A joint project involving Skoltech and IPCP RAS researchers and students was supported by Russian Science Foundation

Tasks:

• Design of organic and hybrid materials for solar cells including metal halide complexes with the perovskite or perovskite-like structure and conjugated block co-polymers
• Performing joint research and educational projects in the field of organic material design with the MS and PhD students from Skoltech and D. I. Mendeleev University
• Involving bachelor students in the research programs of Skoltech CEE CREI
