Detailed Description: Cypher ES scanning probe microscope can measure surface topography, local mechanical, electrical, magnetic and other properties with nanometer resolution. Measurements are performed by the AFM cantilever placed in a cantilever holder. This microscope is equipped with three different cantilever holders: «Gas», «Perfusion», and «ORCA» for different applications.
• Sample Environment: Standard environments are ambient (gas), droplet, perfusion chamber.
• Sample Dimensions: 15/7mm (diameter/thickness);
• Scan Range: XY range is 30μm (closed/open loop). Z range is 5μm;
• XYZ Sensor Noise: XY noise is <60pm. Z noise is <50pm;
• XYZ Open Loop Noise:
Y: <8pm Adev in a 1Hz to 10kHz BW,
Z: <4pm Adev in a 1Hz to 10kHz BW;
The AFM is equipped with Blue Drive laser (405nm wavelength) for photothermal cantilever excitation.
The AFM is installed inside a MBraun Glove Box filled with Ar, which allows measurements of samples sensitive to ambient oxigen and moisture.

Detailed Description: We have two gloveboxes lines filled with high-purity argon and nitrogen (99.999%). Each line consist of several 3-4 glove gloveboxes connected with antechambers. The gloveboxes lines are used for handling air and moisture sensitive materials such as alkali metals and perovskites, therefore oxygen and moisture levels are kept below detection limit of oxygen analyzers i.e <0.1ppm of each.
Major equipment located in gloveboxes.
Ar-filled glovebox:
• Precision balances
• Spin coater with up to 10000rpm capability
• Doctor blade,
• Vacuum sealer
• Degassing chamber
Nitrogen filled glovebox:
• Physical vapor deposition system,
• External quantum efficiency setup
• I-V testing setup with Keithley light simulator
• Avantes Raman fiber spectrometer : 785nm laser
