We are happy to announce that the team of two students from Skoltech Energy track: Kirill Syrkin (MSc) and Aliya Khayrullina (PhD) became semi-finalists of the Go Green In The City competition. They are one of the 9 teams from Russia and 1 project from 100 projects taken to the next level from all over the world. Participants have been challenged by the leading energy management company to develop an idea for intelligent and efficient energy management for smarter cities. This year’s competition had a record 12,808 participants in 6404 teams from 168 countries register, making the competition truly global. As the competition is heading into the second stage Kirill and Aliya got paired up with a mentor from Schneider Electric. They will work collaboratively to elaborate team’s creative solutions for efficient energy management. This will result in written synopsis and a video presentation of their idea.
