Federico Martin Ibanez – Associate Professor
Federico Ibanez and his team have presented two of his current projects “A power boost for electric vehicle based on supercapacitors” and “Energy hub, the future multi source charger”. Both projects are related to electromobility. The first one improves the power available in the vehicle and it can extend the battery lifetime, the second one creates a fast multi-source EV charger which allows to reduce the impact of fast chargers in the grid by using internal batteries and renewables, PV panels. The EV charger uses a patented design which reduces the cost of this advanced charger.
The conference provided a platform for stimulating discussions on the future of energy technologies, showcasing Skoltech’s commitment to driving innovation and fostering sustainable solutions for global energy challenges. As the world shifts towards cleaner energy infrastructure, the Center for Energy Science and Technologies is poised to be at the forefront of these advancements.
