Ten Skoltech PhD students have been awarded Scholarships of the Russian Federation President. They passed competitive selection by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education among young scientists conducting research in disciplines aligned with the national priorities for science and technology development. Among the 500 applicants who secured the monthly 75,000 ruble scholarships provided for the term of one to four years, the ministry named PhD students Arseniy Burov, Grigorii Lakienko, and Michel Lukanov from the Institute’s Materials Science and Engineering program, Yaroslav Berezhnev and Vitaly Kazaku from the Petroleum Engineering program, Elizaveta Kozhina and Maksim Kolker from the Physics program, Artem Lykov and Valerii Serpiva from the Engineering Systems program, and Ivan Butakov from the Computational and Data Science and Engineering program.
