New junior research scientist Stanislav Fedotov joined research group of Prof. Andriy Zhugayevych at CEE CREI.
Stanislav studied at Lomonosov Moscow State University, where he worked in Inorganic Crystal Chemistry lab with Dr. Nellie R. Khasanova on the design of new cathodes for Li-ion batteries. In 2013, Stanislav received his M.S. degree with honors in chemistry from Lomonosov Moscow State University and then enrolled in the postgraduate program at Chemistry Department, Lomonosov Moscow State University. Currently he is a third-year PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Evgeny V Antipov. His doctoral thesis is devoted to the search and synthesis of novel potential electrode materials for a new generation of rechargeable batteries. Stanislav’s research activity also involves the investigation of interrelations between structure and properties of modern functional materials. At Skoltech Stanislav will focus on multiscale modeling of energy storage devices including first principle evaluation of material properties, theoretical screening and design of new materials. Stanislav also graduated from a musical school. In his spare time, he likes playing piano and guitar, composing music and travelling.
