In the interview to Sofiko Shevarnadze, he gave an extended talk on evolution on life on the Earth and some topics related to COVID-19. He passed a comment on Russian science to Rosbalt portal. Professor Gelfand gave a lecture “Medicine and evolution” in Manege where he explained why evolutionary ideas are important for modern medicine. He also took part in discussion on a recent draft legislation restricting science outreach activities organized by Wilson Center.
