Timofei Zatsepin has co-authored a paper “Magnetic Nanoparticles as a Tool for Remote DNA Manipulations at a Single-Molecule Level” that has been recently published in ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces journal. The scientists have proposed a novel technique that allows  for manipulating  millions of individual DNA molecules  simultaneously and  evaluating the energies of intermolecular interactions in short DNA duplexes or in other molecules. Full text of the paper is available here.
