Timofei Zatsepin has co-authored a paper “Magnetic Nanoparticles as a Tool for Remote DNA Manipulations at a Single-Molecule Level” that has been recently published in ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces journal. The scientists have proposed a novel technique that allows for manipulating millions of individual DNA molecules simultaneously and evaluating the energies of intermolecular interactions in short DNA duplexes or in other molecules.
