Mikhail Gelfand gave an interview to PCR.NEWS

 

Professor Mikhail Gelfand gave an extended interview to PCR.NEWS portal. In the interview, he talked on several fundamental issues such as alternative splicing and splicing in cancer cells, bacterial splicing, splicing in neurons and the role of splicing in evolution. He talked on the project on RNA editing in octopus that was conducted in his laboratory. Prof. Gelfand also talked on Dissernet project, especially on the importance of Dissernet in medical scientific community, and possible perspectives of science in Russia.
