Aleksandra Galitsyna gave a lecture at SBERLOGABIG online seminar on bioinformatics

Skoltech researcher Aleksandra Galitsyna gave a lecture on featured problems and solutions in modern computational chromatin biology at SBERLOGABIG online seminar on bioinformatics. The lecture was given online on April, 1st. Aleksandra gave an overview of the most important issues in chromatin biology and described the main method for computational chromatin investigation known as Hi-C. She also talked about single-cell Hi-C and focused on the possible problems and limitations of this method. Aleksandra explained how some of these problems can be solved and talked about some other technical aspects of work with genomic and chromatin data.
