Skoltech scientists Marina Kalinina, Svetlana Kalmykova, Timofei Ivanov, Olga Dontsova and Dmitri Pervouchine have recently published a paper “Multiple competing RNA structures dynamically control alternative splicing in the human ATE1 gene” in Nucleic Acids Research journal! The researchers have unveiled the molecular mechanism of inclusion of one of the two mutually exclusive exons during splicing of transcripts of human ATE1 gene. Congratulations! Full text of the paper is available here.
