Skoltech scientists Ksenia Safina and Georgii Bazykin have co-authored a preprint “Genomic epidemiology of the early stages of SARS-CoV-2 outbreak in Russia” recently published at MedRxiv. The researches have shown that SARS-CoV-2 was introduced Russia independently 67 times in Russia. According to their data, in March and April there were 9 lineages of the virus circulating in Russia in March and April. Full text of the preprint is available here.
