Alexander graduated from Tyumen State Oil and Gas University (now Tyumen Industrial University, Russia) in 2006 with a degree in geophysical methods of well research. In 2004-2005, he worked as a well logging technician in the companies Sugrutneftegaz and Yuganskneftegazgeofizika-GEOFIMP. From 2005 to 2018, Alexander worked at the Tyumen research and design Institute of natural gases “TyumenNIIgiprogaz”, where he rose from technician to head of the core tests Department. While working here, Alexander was engaged in the development of new areas (NMR research, geomechanics, lithology, EOR, express core tests on wells, capillarimetry, complex results analysis, metrology and quality management). In 2013, Alexander received a PhD in geological and mineralogical Sciences from Tyumen Industrial University.
In 2018 he joined the Skoltech team. Now Alexander developing researchs for unconventional oil and gas reservoirs.
Alexander has a wide range of research interests in core research and has more than 30 published papers. He is a member of EAGE and SPE.
