Over the course of the previous three weeks, Skoltech hosted two PhD defenses of our CDSE PhD program students:
- Elena Egorova (Grigory Kabatyansky): “Signature codes for multiple access channels, digital fingerprinting codes and symmetric group testing”
- Ilias Giannakopoulos (Maxim Fedorov): “Memory compression of the Galerkin volume integral equation and coil modeling for the electrical property mapping of biological tissue”
Both Elena and Ilias successfully defended their theses and their works were accepted “as is.” Both candidates were awarded the Skoltech PhD degree! Find out more via individual links!
Let us sincerely congratulate Elena and Ilias (as well as their research supervisors Prof. Fedorov and Prof. Kabatyansky) and cordially wish the new PhDs the best of luck in their future academic and professional careers!
