Dear friends!
If you have friends-bachelors students and graduates majoring in Applied Mathematics, Information Science, and similar fields who want to study at Skoltech, invite them to participate in the Statistical Learning Theory (SLT) Olympiad. The main goal of the participation in the SLT Olympiad is admission to the Joint Master’s Program in Statistical Learning Theory offered by HSE and Skoltech. This program prepares specialists and researchers in the key theoretical unit of Machine Learning.
The winners will be granted admission offers to the SLT track of the MSc Data Science offered in network form with the Higher School of Economics.
The SLT Olympiad will consist of online and on-campus rounds taking place on Skoltech Campus on 4-5 April 2020.
The deadline for applications is Mar 16, 23:59.
Both Russian and global economy are in urgent need of statistical learning theory specialists as it is SLT that underlies machine learning – one of the fastest-growing fields of information technology.
