Skoltech researchers co-authored a paper in Nature Communications

Skoltech scientists Dmitrii Travin, Mikhail Metelev, Ilya Osterman and Konstantin Severinov co-authored an article “Structure of ribosome-bound azole-modified peptide phazolicin rationalizes its species-specific mode of bacterial translation inhibition” recently published in Nature Communications. The preprint of the paper was previously released at BioRchiv. The scientists have discovered a novel inhibitor of bacterial ribosome – phazolicin. Congratulations! Full text of the paper is available here.
