Skoltech scientists Anna Maykova and Konstantin Severinov have co-authored a paper “Using endogenous CRISPR-Cas system for genome editing in the human pathogen Clostridium difficile” that has been recently published in Applied and Environmantal Biology journal of American Society for Microbiology. In this work, the researchers have developed a new technique to control the Clostridium difficile infections using endogenous CRISPR/Cas system of this human pathogen. Congratulations!
