PhD student Tatyana Zyubko won the 2nd poster prize on 8th International Meeting on Antimicrobial Peptides

8th International Meeting on Antimicrobial Peptides took place on September 2-4, 2018 in Edinburgh. The program of the conference included 35 oral presentations and 59 posters by scientists from all over the world. The only participant from Russia was Skoltech PhD student Tatyana Zyubko (supervised by Konstantin Severinov). She has presented a poster: “The novel lasso-peptide pseudomycoidin from Bacillus sp. synthesised in a branched-cyclic form”. Her work featuring novel aspects of a unique lasso peptide fold formation characterizing many antimicrobial peptides captured the attention and has been awarded the 2nd prize in a poster competition.
