Scientific advisor: Prof. Aldo Bischi
Arsenii graduated from Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. He also has secondary high education in the field of economics. Arsenii has an internship experience in KPMG in an Information Risk Management branch. His diploma was dedicated to continious and semibatch chemical reactor facility control systems.
Arsenii currently is a PhD student at Skoltech in the working group of the Prof. Aldo Bischi. He is involved in Energy Systems optimization. The challenges of such systems are due to the fact that electric power, heat and eventually refrigeration power demands do not follow the same trend and a number of units can be used to satisfy the user demands. He is interested understanding how to optimize such integrated energy infrastructures, gas-, electricity- and heat- based, using different methods to achieve higher efficiency from both economic and thermodynamic perspectives.
The proposed model will be validated against real world test cases and focus will be also on Russian Federation applications.
PhD thesis: “Stochastic optimization in energy systems”
