Irina develops numerical simulations in the framework industrial projects of the Laboratory. She processes, systemizes and formalizes the results of calculations in accordance with methodological documents.
Irina graduated from Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Fundamental Sciences Department, Technical Physics Sub Department. She holded a Master’s degree with honors in Technical Physics.
Prior to Skoltech, Irina worked as a Structural Engineer for an aviation company in the Stress Research Department. She has done buckling analysis of unmanned aircraft panels, structural analysis of baffle by bullet resistance, dynamic analysis of catapult mechanism and many other interesting projects.
Research Interests: Micro- and nanometer-scale fluid dynamics: emulsions, suspensions, and complex fluids in micro-nano-channels and porous media, dynamics and acoustics of bubbles and bubbly liquids , multiphase systems
