Data Mining for Medical Research, Web Content Filtering and Scientific Projects Expertise
Roman will talk about his experience with machine learning, natural language processing and data mining techniques and applications, including: web content filtering using image and text classification; retrospective analysis of the scientific project proposals expertise in the Russian Foundation for Basic Research; clinical diagnostics (disease detection) based on structured and textual data from electronic health records; comparative analysis of various cancer treatment methods based on data, automatically extracted from scientific papers; etc.
