Research project: “Identification of new aging-associated molecular targets based on cross-species analysis of longevity-associated mutations and drugs effect on gene expression level and metabolite profile”
The project is aimed to use confirmed and putative longevity-associated drugs and mutations for identification of new molecular pathways related to aging and new molecular targets for potential intervention. For generalization of our findings different animals at different stages of development will be used during the work. Such project may bring us closer to the understanding of aging mechanisms and even let us discover new drugs for increase of lifespan of human being.
