Sergey Kosolobov

Associate Professor
Center for Engineering Physics

Graduate of the Novosibirsk State University, Russia, Sergey received his PhD and Doctor of Sciences in Physics and Mathematics (Condensed Matter Physics) degree from the Rzhanov Institute of Semiconductor Physics SB RAS, Novosibirsk, Russia. He is an author and co-author of more than 60 journal papers, 6 invited book chapters, 12 patents, and more than 40 conference contributions, including 7 invited talks. His main research interests includes nanofabrication, defect engineering, nanoelectronics, nanophotonics, microwave photonics and optoelectronics.

Nanofabrication, defect engineering, silicon-based integrtated photonics, microwave photonics, optoelectronics,  nanophotonics.

Current projects:

  • Development of the technology and components of integrated ultra-high-frequency microwave photonics on the base of MOS-structures with embedded ITO layer
  • Development of technology for the production of compact signal analyzers for fiber-optic sensors based on integrated photonics and fiber optics
